Skin renewal for texture and quality
For skin that looks tired, thin or fine-textured, including the delicate under-eye area. We assess your skin first, then talk through in-clinic options that work on skin quality rather than shape.
Concerns
What people come to us about
Skin renewal treatments focus on the quality of the skin itself. They are often combined with a skin clinic program for the best overall plan.
Fine texture
Fine lines and a rough or uneven skin surface.
Crepey under-eyes
Thin, crinkled skin beneath the eyes that makes you look tired.
Dullness and dryness
Skin that has lost its glow or feels dehydrated.
Thinning skin
Skin that feels thinner and less resilient than it used to.
Enlarged pores
Visible pores, particularly across the cheeks and nose.
Acne scarring
The appearance of shallow scarring, usually alongside skin needling.
How it works
Treating the skin, not the shape
Skin renewal is about how your skin looks and feels, not about adding volume or changing your features. Treatments are injected into the skin in very small amounts, and are usually planned as a short course spaced a few weeks apart.
Before anything is recommended, we assess your skin closely, in person and in good light. That lets us explain what we are seeing and decide whether an injectable option, a skin clinic treatment such as a peel or needling, or a combination is most suitable.
Is it right for me?
Not everyone is a suitable candidate. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infections and some medical conditions and allergies can rule treatment out. We go through your history carefully at your consultation and will always tell you if a different approach would suit you better.
Your appointment
What to expect
Every plan starts with a consultation and skin assessment. If a course is suitable and you choose to go ahead, this is how it usually works.
- First
Skin assessment
A close look at texture, hydration and pigmentation, and a discussion of your concerns.
- Then
Your plan
Options explained plainly, including risks, recovery and costs, with time to decide.
- Next
A short course
Treatments are usually spaced a few weeks apart and reviewed at every visit.
- After
Maintenance
Home skincare and skin clinic treatments to support your skin between visits.
Safety
Risks and recovery
Small raised bumps, redness, swelling and tenderness are common straight after treatment and usually settle within one to three days. Bruising is possible, particularly under the eyes.
Less common risks include infection, prolonged swelling and allergic reaction. People with certain fish or seafood allergies may not be suitable for some products, so please tell us about all allergies at your consultation.

Questions
Frequently asked
How many sessions will I need?
Skin renewal is usually planned as a short course. The number of sessions depends on your skin and concerns, and we will recommend a plan at your consultation.
Can the under-eye area be treated?
In suitable clients, yes. The under-eye area is delicate, so it is assessed carefully and not everyone is a candidate.
Is there downtime?
Small bumps and redness usually settle within one to three days. Bruising can take longer, so plan around any important events.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Often, yes. Some skin clinic treatments can be combined in the same plan. We will tell you what is safe to combine and what needs to be spaced apart.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is discussed at your consultation, once we understand what is suitable for you.
