Skin needling with SkinPen
Microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin to support its natural renewal. We use SkinPen to treat texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and the appearance of acne scarring.

How it works
Why we use SkinPen
SkinPen is a professional microneedling device that uses sterile, single-use needle cartridges. The fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin, which triggers the skin's natural repair process and supports collagen production over the following weeks.
Because the needle depth is adjustable, treatment can be tailored to different areas and concerns. Changes build gradually, so skin needling is usually planned as a course of several sessions spaced about four to six weeks apart.
Before and after your session
- Stop retinol and exfoliating skincare for the time we advise beforehand.
- Skip makeup, exercise, swimming and saunas for 24 hours afterwards.
- Wear SPF 50+ every day while your skin recovers.

What to expect
Every course starts with a skin consultation, so we know needling is right for your skin.

Your concerns, skin history and an in-person assessment.
- Then
Your plan
How many sessions to expect and how they fit with other treatments.
- Next
Treatment
Numbing cream is applied, then SkinPen is passed over the area in a set pattern.
- After
Recovery
Skin looks pink, like mild sunburn, for one to two days. We give you aftercare to follow.
Safety
Risks and recovery
Redness, tightness, mild swelling and sensitivity are common for one to two days, and some people have light flaking. Less common risks include pinpoint bleeding, bruising, breakouts, infection and changes in pigmentation.
Skin needling may not suit you if you have active acne, cold sores or skin infections, are pregnant, or use certain medications. We check all of this at your consultation.

Yes, as part of a planned course with the right spacing between treatments.
How much does it cost?
